Sol Farina was born in Santiago, Chile, South America 45 years ago. Sol came to Australia with his family at 8 yrs and at 14 moved to Sydney where he worked for 8 years in hospitality. Sol moved to the Far north coast 21 years ago, and has raised his 3 sons here. Sol worked for Santos ( a local whole foods shop) and has worked with local youth for 10 years, instigating the Mullumbimby skate park.
Sol’s spiritual journey has evolved throughout his time here in the Byron shire. Following his inner path, Sol established regular ceremony and sacred earth rituals in natural power places, particularly on Full Moon, Equinox and Solstice, working with both small and large groups. He also ran horseback trail rides in Wanganui Gorge and through the Huonbrook area, establishing himself as one of the more knowledgeable guides learning the country well.
Sol has played and active role in the local community for many years, finalizing in a years voluntary work at the Byron Bay visitors centre. It was here that he realised the serious lack of any kind of tour that takes people to the bush and also introduces some of the more sacred and ceremonial aspects of the Byron shires personality.
